We built our OG Breeze short almost 10 years ago and it’s been a bestseller ever since. So this season, we took everything you love about the original version—the light and airy fabric, next-level stretch, and unreasonably soft boxer brief liner—and gave it a few performance-minded upgrades. The Bamboo-Lined Active Breeze Short features a wide-knit waistband for added, stay-put support, while sewn-down pockets keep your phone and keys from bouncing around when you’re striding, lunging, or jumping. Subtle changes. Big impact. The 7” inseam is great for all levels of activity, while offering slightly more coverage than the 5.5” option.

I was orginally super excited about these shorts. The older version are my absolute favorite shorts so naturally, the updated version i thought would be even better. I think free fly attempted to fix something that wasnt broken. The visible stitching of the pockets on these shorts is hideous in my opinion. Returned for a refund and will buy all of the “non-athletic” version i can.

These shorts have exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort, functionality, and style. The bamboo lining is incredibly soft and feels gentle against the skin, which is important when dealing with inner thigh chafing. So, I am particular about the type of shorts I wear. Recently, I ran a 10k in these shorts, and they surpassed my expectations. They are not revealing or restrictive. Additionally, the inclusion of pockets is a practical touch, offering convenient storage for my dog’s treats. This is good for a casual day out or intense workout. For me, they are true to size. Possibly the most comfortable shorts I’ve ever worn. I’m 5’10” 210 so it’s often hard for me to find shorts that fit well. Extremely happy, got size XL and I’m typically a 36-38 waist, fyi. Thanks again FF!
