Tired of the clothing feeling like plastic and holding smell? So were we. In the search for the perfect performance fabric, bamboo was the ultimate natural fiber. Our bamboo difference is what sets us apart from other brands, not having to sacrifice comfort for protection. For top notch womens and mens bamboo clothing, Free Fly Apparel is here to help you out! Here are the top 5 reasons to try our bamboo.
1. Buttery Soft Comfort
Our bamboo blends are said to be the most comfortable shirt you'll ever wear. Unlike synthetic fabrics that feel like plastic, the ultra-fine yarn used in our fabrics feel luxuriously soft against your skin… like butter.
2. UV Protection
Our bamboo blends deliver UV protection. Each piece of clothing is designed for all day sun protection with ratings from UPF 20 to 50+. In case you didn’t know, UPF is the equivalent of SPF in sunscreen. Learn more about sun protective clothing for the whole family!
3. Moisture Wicking
Keeps you cool and dry when temperatures get hot. Nobody wants to be soaking wet and weighted down in the middle of a cast or afternoon hike.
Bamboo Believer. I have become a huge bamboo convert, difficult to go back to wearing anything else in fact.

4. Breathable
No more suffocating plastic shirts or being itchy and uncomfortable. Imagine wearing a shirt that feels as if you're wearing nothing. More breathable than cotton, hemp, wool and synthetic fabrics. There's lightweight options for everyone, even a lightweight hooded sweatshirt to try!
5. Anti-Odor
From first catch to happy hour, our gear is meant to be worn all day with no stink. Bamboo fibers are naturally resistant to odor retention.
Free Fly’s specialization in bamboo is what truly sets their gear apart from the rest.

Despite our best efforts to have our products manufactured to the US, the specific type of bamboo that is used to create our fabric is an indigenous crop found only in Asia. That said, we manufacture our products in a few sustainable factories in China and Vietnam.
All of our factories are WRAP (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production) certified. Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) is an independent, objective, non-profit team of global social compliance experts dedicated to promoting safe, lawful, humane and ethical manufacturing around the world through certification and education. You can learn more about WRAP at http://www.wrapcompliance.org/
Where does the bamboo come from and where are these shirts made?
Hey Clay!
Thanks for the kind words – awesome to hear you’re loving the tee and underwear. It looks like we missed you in August – sorry about that, we’re still working on figuring out the blog comments. Our Meeting Street location is just our headquarters, we don’t have any gear for sale here. Thanks again for reaching out!
