Our team travels a lot. This year, we logged 48,548 flight miles—per person. Along the way, two cameras “went swimming” and one drone took a very impressive nose dive (luckily all memory cards survived). We got stranded overnight at the airport, twice. Spent several hours explaining our way through Mexican customs. And spent approximately 120 hours shooting, sleeping, and fishing on boats.
We signed five new ambassadors to Team Free Fly (for a total of 16)—a few incredible anglers and guides, and one of the best women’s big-wave surfers in the world. We held our first-ever Ambassador Summit in Charleston—a whirlwind week of athlete feedback, early-morning field tests, and late-night shenanigans.
We flew to the Keys for an almost Grand Slam. We chased grey ghosts in Hawaii. We designed our first-ever surf collection with big-wave legend, Mark Healey. And we earned our B Corp Certification. The list goes on. So we’ve rounded up a few highlights from the year—photos, notes, souvenirs, and moments that made 2025 such an awesome adventure.
