The Elements Jacket was born through necessity for a versatile jacket to keep up with the activities we get after through the fall and winter months. The Sherpa-lined Elements Jacket was designed to keep you out there when the temps cool down, but the bite is heating up. With the sherpa fleece lining and water-resistant woven upper panels, you can run the boat in confidence, regardless of the weather. 

 

2. Ultimate Construction

Our buttery soft sherpa fleece lines the entire jacket - including the hood and oversized hand-warmer pockets - offering insane warmth and comfort next-to-skin. Along the chest, back, and hood, we layered panels of our best-selling Breeze Woven fabric finished with DWR to provide extra protection for windy and misty conditions, or when running the boat to your favorite spot.

 

3. Trial and Error Builds Character

This jacket began as a half zip pop-over, but after testing early prototypes in the elements, we decided to switch to a full zip for easy-on-easy-off, providing even more versatility.

 

4. Options

To develop an outwear piece that fits great on a variety of body types, we have extended the sizing to XS-XXXL, constantly testing the silhouette on both men and women throughout the development process. We are also happy to offer it in three exciting colors.

 

5. It's All in the Details

Beyond the fabric and fit, we love obsessing over the details here at Free Fly. Along with the sherpa-lined hand pockets, the jacket also features a vertical zipper pocket at the left chest to secure your valuables, and the hood drawcord features a minimal stopper for easy cinch and release. And don't overlook the wrist cuffs. While this might seem like a small detail, there is nothing worse when the cuff is too bulky, doesn't fit right, or gets stretched out after multiple uses. It took us 3 prototypes, but we finally nailed it (you can thank us later). Clean, minimal branding is a staple for us, so we were stoked with how the high-density wave icon print came out at the left chest.
