A Note from Evan
“I wanted this collab to blend two worlds I love: surf and fly fishing. The idea started with a simple question—what if the flies themselves became part of the sandal? I cut up a fly box, glued it onto the strap, loaded it with flies, and sent it over to REEF. Somehow, that scrappy little idea turned into a real collab between REEF and Free Fly.
From there, we wanted the rest of the collection to reflect that same crossover energy—using Free Fly’s signature camo with a little extra spice. The design team brought that surfy vision to life, and the rest is history.
