Great jacket. I've used it on the SC Lowcountry flats already and no problems shedding water. Totally waterproof. The fabric is super soft and pliable, not so stiff and "plastic" feeling like a lot of waterproof jackets. Definitely a great jacket. I'm 6'2", 210 lbs and I ordered the XXL which fits great. I'd love to see Free Fly's sizing be a little more standard with other outdoor brands where I've traditionally just worn XL. But that's a minor complaint. Overall, this is great jacket for fishing, camping, even running to the grocery store in a downpour.

I have not been able to wear this jacket out in the rain yet so I can't comment on the degree to which it is waterproof. It fits well and I believe it will be my go to rain jacket on rainy and misty days . The quality seems very good too. Time will tell.

I really, really like this jacket and would give it 4.75 stars if possible. The material is very nice & quiet, the color is gorgeous. My only tiny issue is with the fit in the armpits. With just a t-shirt or a sun hoody underneath it's ok but they're still a little snug. If you layer something more substantial for cooler weather the armpits get very snug, a little freedom of movement is lost and they're uncomfortable. Just a small, little complaint but it keeps this jacket from being perfect.
