Great layer!
I really like this vest, considering getting the jacket too! I like the wider shoulder coverage and the boxy style, it makes it a really great layer when it’s chilly. It’s a really short vest, and I’m short waisted, so that’s saying something, it barely makes it to my hip bones. I would love a slightly longer version with better coverage down the hips, but this is still super warm and super comfy! The pockets are great and I love that it can pack into on of them, I used it as a pillow on a car ride packed into the pocket and it was awesome. It’s also convenient for travel because of how packable it is, I just have an S-biner that I use to clip it to my bag. It’s also surprisingly warm for how lightweight it is, and I even wore it while it was raining (light rain, not a downpour, but still) and it kept me warm and somewhat dry. The bungees by the waist are super helpful because you can cinch them up so you don’t lose all your heat out the bottom. I definitely love this new layer! For context, I am 5’4, ~140lbs, semi-athletic build, short waist, and I got a small. I’ve worn it over top the lightweight fleece hoodie, and over the North coast crew, and it works really well as a nice cool-cold weather layer! (In the picture, I’m wearing it over the elevate lightweight cropped tee, and I love the style combo!!)
