I love these hoodies :) They are lightweight but give me the security of UV protection. I’m a skin cancer survivor, and sun protection has always been something I’m vigilant about. I’ve tried other hoodies and skin protective clothing, and they have just about all been super heavy-feeling, and nothing I would want to wear in FL where I live. This hoodie is wonderful to wear for a hot day at Disney World. I’m hooked on these hoodies!! I have about 10 of them, all different colors or patterns.

A couple of birthdays ago I received a shade Hoodie as a gift. Up until then I never heard of Free Fly or bamboo clothing. I was skeptical. Yet after wearing this hoodie once I realized that this garment truly represented love at first wear. I was hooked on its softness, plush feel, natural wicking and superior odor control. And, it looked good too.
These hoodies are superb for athletics such as mountain biking, hiking, tent camping and paddleboarding. In the cooler weather they make an excellent base layer for snowshoeing, fat tire biking on the snow and high elevation rock scrambling. I even wear them on my ATV adventures on mountain trails.
As you may have guessed I now have several Shade Hoodies along with the heavier weight Flex Hoodies in a variety of colors for any occasion.
I wholeheartedly recommend the Shade Hoodie for athletics, socializing or just hanging around at home. Yes, they really are that good.

Was recommended to try this product by family and I must say I was impressed at how comfortable and breathable it was in the middle of summer! Recommend wearing a hat with this hoodie so the top of the hood doesn’t block your vision. If you need to keep out of the sun, this hoodie is definitely the one! Colors didn’t bleed after washing.
