I bought two Free Fly bamboo lightweight hoodies this summer and I’m already planning to get two more.
I wear them on the bike, walking, and anytime I’m doing outdoor work. They dry fast and keep odor down. In mid-August Florida heat they still work for me if I’m moving around and want coverage from sun and bugs—though they may be too heavy for some people in that weather.
From the 80s down to freezing, they’re an easy yes. The fabric makes a great base layer. I’m grabbing two more in neutral colors for casual wear when I go out.
I just found Free Fly this summer and already need to try more of their stuff. This is my daily go-to hoodie: comfortable, keeps plastic off my skin, and works for riding, yard work, and casual days.
I also picked up the Slub Hoodie II for cooler weather. Heavier, and I love it.

This is a great garment - soft, slightly textured, a comfortable fit, and a great color. Durability remains to be seen, but most Free Fly gear holds up well, so this should be no different.
