Bought it as a super light6weight and packable jacket for a Costa Rica trip. It is super lightweight and packable. Perfect for warm weather. That being said, it was completely soaked through the first rain that it saw. It was nota torrential downpour either. Not sure what DWR was used, but it probably could have used more that a single treatment. Not cool since getting anything like nikwax or revivex down here is almost impossible.

The quality seems great, this jacket is thinner than I expected, it is truly a windbreaker. He has not used it yet, as this is a Christmas present, it will be good for rainy summers on the boat..

Great lightweight early morning, jacket for cool mornings fishing riding in the boat boat. Waited till this jacket got on sale. It is a lightweight jacket, not thick at all. Some people reviewed it negatively, but it’s exactly as described a thin lightweight jacket for wind. Definitely get it on sale. Hand pockets would be nice but again it’s just for cool mornings. Not something I would wear all day unless it’s super windy as I live in Florida.
