First off I do love these, they're comfy, good draw string and seem fairly durable so far. There's a couple things that could make them better.
1. Like other people said, these don't fit like a 5.5" short. They fit more like a 6" or 6.5" short.
2. liner for the 5.5" short would be nice
3. At least one zipper pocket. Either one tucked behind one of the front pockets or make the back pocket with a zipper.
