The material is great. Dries fast. Repels dirt. Feels rugged. And nice looking.
The fit is slim fit. For lunging, squatting, kneeling, etc, I prefer pants with a little more give.
A larger waste may resolve this issue however.

Free fly is just the best. I ordered the Men's topogrid pant in 32x32 and found that it was a little bit small around the waist. I returned it in exchange for a 33x32, but again a 32x32 showed up. Free fly was very quick to fix the issue, and let me keep the extra pair of pants as a spare! Who knows...if I ease off the camp beers I may fit them one day! In any case, I put these pants to the test in the Mojave Desert and they do an excellent job. Best field pants I have found and I have tried almost everything out there.

Not sure if fit was updated before or after I purchased. Not super happy with the fit. Too tight in the thigh and hip, especially when squatting or lunging. Everything else is great. Wish I kept the tags on and returned. Trim fit is getting to be too much of a thing.
