These pants are a nice weight, soft, and a trim cut throughout. The calves were a little bit tight on me and I'm pretty thin. I ordered a size 30x30. There's enough stretch to make them work and I think they will make good wading pants. A size 31 would probably be perfect.

The pant is very light, with a giving waistline. Use the pant to go for a walk along the beach, or a hike. You can also put on a nice shirt with the pant and go to a nice restaurant for a meal. It’s a multi-role type of pant.
