This is my go-to shirt when hiking in the summer or at the beach. I did not give it 5 stars for 2 reasons. First, the lighter colors are very see-through. I have this in Citrus and Slate. The slate one I can wear any bra I choose, and it's not see-through. This is great for hiking. The citrus is almost transparent, so it requires a bathing suit top or a printed sports bra. That's a bit frustrating (and now I know why citrus was on sale). Second, these shirts are only 20 UPF, so I do need sunscreen under them. Again, I tend to get more sun exposure with the citrus than with the slate. Overall, it's a great shirt, and I love the weight for summer. I do highly recommend.

This shirt is soft and comfortable and washes well. I have been wearing it under another shirt for winter fishing and it does ball up or create bulk.

This top is thin and lightweight- I love that about Freefly- the different thicknesses of the bamboo shirts. For now, it’s a great base layer under other long sleeve shirts and perfect under one layer when I’m indoors. In the summer, I’ll love it on its own.
