Bought these for fall hiking and casual wear, sure glad I did! They are mid-rise, I am more partial to a high-rise, but I actually love the mid-rise on these pants. The fabric has just the right amount of stretch and range of movement. Love the color too, more like an acid washed black. All in all, love what free fly has done!

They are incredibly comfortable. If you are short (5'0) they are more like pants. Still love them!
