Charlie Mogul

Captain Charlie Mogul is a well-known angler and guide based right here in our own Lowcountry backyard. “I grew up on the water,” he tells us, “flats fishing with my dad and was hooked on fly fishing from an early age. What started as a passion quickly became a calling. I wanted to spend my life outside, chasing fish in wild places, and sharing that with others.” He became a full-time guide and hasn’t looked back since—spending nearly every day on the water chasing redfish around the barrier islands. “I love being a saltwater fishing guide because every day on the water is different. It’s a game of constantly changing variables—the tides, the weather, and the fish.”
