Madison Wittich

Named after the Madison River, Madison Wittich grew up exploring Montana’s rivers and mountains with her dad, who had her learning to row before she was ten. After spending nearly a decade living in New Zealand, Oregon, Idaho, Texas, and California, she returned home and settled in Columbia Falls, just outside Glacier National Park.

Guiding was a natural extension of what Madison had already been doing for years: taking friends and family fishing, teaching them to cast, read water, row boats, and experience a place through its rivers. Today, she is driven by the endless opportunity to improve as an angler and guide—and by helping others discover what they’re capable of. For Madison, fly fishing is equal parts challenge, therapy, adventure, and connection to the natural world.
