Madison Wittich

Named after the Madison River, Madison Wittich grew up exploring Montana’s rivers and mountains with her dad, who had her learning to row before she was ten. After spending nearly a decade living in New Zealand, Oregon, Idaho, Texas, and California, she found her way home to Columbia Falls, where she now guides the rivers surrounding Glacier National Park.

Guiding was a natural extension of what Madison had already been doing for years: sharing her love of fly fishing with friends and family, teaching them to cast, read water, row boats, and experience a place through its rivers. Today, she's driven by the endless pursuit of getting better—and by helping others discover what they're capable of along the way. Whether it's a first fish on the fly, a better cast, or the confidence to take on a new adventure, Madison believes the best days on the water are about far more than the fish.
