Lightweight, fast drying and I love the hood for added sun protection. For reference, my child is 36” tall and 30lbs and I bought a size 4T. It’s a bit long (as I expected based on the size chart) but should easily last another season.

We love this shirt and it’s very soft and comfortable and great for the sun. We use it for boating and theme parks and days outdoors so we don’t need to keep worrying about sunscreen, and love the ability to pull up the hood. Our one wish is that it had thumb holes. My son mentions it almost every time he wears it and it would make this shirt unstoppable!
He just turned 6 and wears a 6 in most clothes, and the 6T fits perfectly. I suspect we’ll be into the youth size next year.
