After a recent trip prowling the crystal clear flats of the Bahamas, we wanted to share our top 5 essentials needed for a good time hunting the grey ghost. Scroll on to see our picks!

1. Protection from the hot hot sun.

Stay covered while getting all the stealth help you can get with our all new Clearwater Camo pattern! Available in our protective, and best-selling Lightweight Hoody. Nobody wants to get roasted the first day of the trip.

2. Backpack filled with local beer

We would have made this priority numero uno, but were advised against it. Stuff a bag filled with ice and enough beer or brown water to keep you and your amigo's thirst quenched. Fact, fish are attracted to the sound of beer being cracked.

3. Some heavy-duty hardware

You'll want to beef up that trout set-up for all those massive bonefish you'll be hooking. For their size, bones can bull pretty darn hard. Plus, you never know what you might trudge across out there, so be prepared with an 8 or 9 wt rod, solid saltwater reel, and slick fly line.

4. Eagle eyes, aka local knowledge

While DIY fishing is a very noble endeavor, make the most of your trip by hiring a local guide. The fish can be virtually invisible against the turtle grass. Once your eyes understand what to look for, you'll be much better equipped to venture out on your own.

5. All around killer vibe and attitude

Kinda a joke, but not really. Smile! You're in a beautiful place with good folks. Now get out there and catch some fish!
